Automated call from fake HMRC officer threatening action
Had a call from this number where he had all of my details, name, number and full address. When I questioned him on how he obtained all my details considering I had never heard of them he said it was in their database. Constantly telling me he just wanted 50 seconds of my time I asked him to remove all my details from the system but he started getting shirty with me an adopted a bad attitude.

These guys tricked my 89 year old mother with dementia into buying their "services" on 12 August 2016. I only found out when they called again six days later and spoke to me by mistake. An Indian-sounding "customer service executive" calling himself Patrick refused to cancel the contract or to recognise the statutory cooling-off period. I was compelled to phone them back on two further occasions, each time with Patrick sticking to his arguments about recorded & irreversible telephone contracts. Eventua
Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name

This number is from a nuisance caller. Calls are usually silent, or hang up as soon as you answer. There have been many complaints about this number - one person had 35 calls in one day.
