I received a text on this number claiming that I had missed a delivery from Fedex. The website address I was supposed to link to looked suspicious and when I checked online didn't match anything on the official Fedex site. Since I am not expecting a delivery I assume that this is a scam.

012 5555 4810 rings me regularly and keeps hanging up, they don’t leave a voicemail either. I no longer answer the landline phone, I wait till calls go into voicemail. I have told friends and family to leave a message and I will pick-up the phone as soon as I recognise the caller or the reason for the call or I will call back. This number comes from a scammer with an Indian accent calling from outside Blackburn. He claims someone is hacking into your internet provider and wants your details to sort out the problem. He is persistent and throughout lockdown has claimed to be ringing on behalf of Amazon, BT, Virgin, credit card companies. Don’t give him any information. He is so stupid he thinks I don’t recognise his voice when he calls every two or three weeks.

Missed call, left no vm, no msg, nothing to ID themselves, usually means something crooked these days. Don't know anyone in Manchester, would not have answered it anyway. Blocking this no. & reporting it to provider, etc., or anyone who will take note, if u do that every time for every nuisance/phishing call, it mostly stops for a while at least. Beware, stay safe.
