The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. Called today, 11.38...Voice said "Hi my names Chris, a local energy advisor, I hope everyone is ok"....I didn't speak and after about 10 seconds the line cuts off. Initially you think its someone there, but it isn't. It says the first recorded part, then waits for a voice to answer, at which point it plays the next part, which usually talks over you. very clever, but a scam nonetheless. Just hang up or say nothing and you are good.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Called today, phone ID said Redruth Cornwall, however missed text message showed 01513759551 (Liverpool no in keeping with other comments). Blocked the number.
Spoke to a girl called autumn who made my line rental and calls very cheap she explained everything very well AMD everything she said happened I now have faster speed broadband and free landline calls at an awesome price. Such a lovely girl if and well mannered. Thankyou ee.

Some guy called "David" says he s phoning from the tax office with a rebate of ?3250, that the courier is waiting to deliver it to you once you confirm you can take delivery. Told him I thought he was a scammer, tax rebates do not come in this way!! And told where I thought he could go and place his head. Total scammers - beware!

SCAM. The source of this call is in Russia and was a text message purportedly from a Hermes a delivery company and saying that they were unable to deliver an item. To get it delivered to reply. Obviously a big Russian scam. I have nothing on order from anyone either. Don't touch it if you get a message from this #.
