Call received today (7 March 2016), the female caller telling me she wanted to talk about an accident I had in past two and a half years. Claimed there must have been a mistake...

This number calls me everyday but never leaves a message. On answering, it is just silent. On calling back, it just rings out.

Chap said there was a four figure sum waiting for me after my recent accident. As I have not had an accident I told him so, hung up and blocked the number. Must be a scam

Keep ringing me - saying there was unclaimed compensation money from an accident that happened within the last 3 years. Very convincing - I kept asking if this was a sales call and would I suddenly be asked to pay some charges upfront - asked a lot of questions - I remained vague (I hope). Said I would be hearing from a solicitor called John Cunningham Associates. After I had finished the call I felt very vulnerable in case I had told him something that he could use for other purposes

maybe a debt collection Co. as I had a threatening letter from Post Office telecom wanting money after they took over my ISP without ny knowledge and cut off my phone without warning after none of their comms reached me. As I have no contract with them or no warnings they can go whistle/

The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. I ve had a couple of missed calls from 0845-0942574 today (Tues 22nd Aug 17). I tried calling it back on my work phone (Skype) but the call wouldn t connect as the number isn t in service. Very dodgy if you ask me!

This number comes from a agency in London working on behalf of the times newspaper. If you answer them tell them you want their registered address so you can bill them ?10 per minute, that ll get rid of them, but if the do recall then send them a invoice sent as tracked, and they have to pay you if you pursue to a small debt court.
