Getting phone calls from this number everyday it only rings three times then they hang up we get about five a day from same number

Fraud, claims to be calling from sky regarding my broadband, claims my router is sending them some sort of warning that there's a fault they need to fix. I'm not with sky, they didn't know who I was, it's a scam trying to get money out of you to fix your broadband. I have had numerous calls from these people and when I tried to question them and they realised I was suspicious they put the phone down. Do not engage with these con artists.

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Didn’t answer it. They hung up after 4 rings, which usually indicates it’s a scam caller.

SCAM Automated call from "Amazon", confirming renewal of Amazon Prime for one year for £71 plus. Given options of "Press 1 for this, 2 for that." Of course I have not renewed an Amazon Prime membership - didn't have one to renew. I said nothing, pressed no buttons, and after about 30 seconds of silence the line dropped. It's likely they would have asked for my cc details so the could confirm/reverse the charge; I'll never know :-)
