Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. SCAM / SPAM I received a call today, 18th of August 2020 from this number and it was a robotic voice stating it was the HMRC and that the name associated to my number had been involved in fraud. To press 1 otherwise i will be arrested shortly. I didn't check with HMRC, but i doubt this is the way HMRC contacts you if you are involved in any type of fraud. Be aware people! They are probably hunting for your data to commit fraud. I wish they could catch all these people doing this kind of stuff.
