This number called me claiming to be from BT, it seemed dubious .

This is ASDA in Altrincham. They called me to say my glasses are ready for collection.

It's a scam or virus

left message saying technical difficulty.....no one available at call centre!!

Scam caller pretending to be hmrc to issue warrant

Yet again a call telling me I am entitled to a new boiler. Government backed, it claims. Nonsense. I am ex-directory and these people whoever they are cannot possibly have my number legitimately.

This number has just called the home phone and spoken to my partner. My partner had filled out some online surveys recently which was about gaining free samples etc. This was mentioned over the call and then offered him £20 worth of petrol or diesel vouchers, but would need his bank details over the phone to pay for postage. My partner was chatted to the person right up until this point... then stated with all due respect, as much as I would love the vouchers, I never have or will give my bank details out

Two calls in five minutes just now. Marketing survey. Phone now un-plugged so that we can finish our evening meal together.

Dangerous Internet to be cut off total rubbish total scam

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? They hanged up straight after I answered. I suspect it is from the same time wasters I had earlier today, a debt helper or whatever they call it company. Obvious scam as usual

Thought she had given up but she called again today. This time I flatly refused to put her call through due to insufficient information. She is now getting a senior manager to ring me. Bring it on .....

Started getting calls beginning of March, normally between 2-3 in afternoon. Somtimes twice a day in a week. Ignore every time rings off quick. Hopefully will stop soon, but in any case I m changing my number soon anyway
