An Indian man who allegedly would have to query my customer information due to a breakdown wanted to have my name and address. I asked which company he called exactly and he staggered. I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. She said she was from CarPhone Warehouse. Knew my name. Tried asking me about paying too much for my current phone. Not been called by them before by them and don't have a phone from them. Might be a legit desperate sales call.
