Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side
Missed call - Unknown number. Rang but left no message. I never answer unknown numbers due to the volume of scams. Any genuine caller would leave a message. Any polite caller would leave a message. Therefore this number is from a person who is neither genuine or polite. Not someone I wish to talk to!
Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!

100% FRAUD! They left me a voicemail, quoting a DHL import duty invoice that I paid 3 weeks ago. I called them, spoke to 'RAJU' - he knew all about me, my company and my invoice, but said don't worry as you've already paid. This is obviously someone at DHL leaking account details to fraudsters, who are preying on people who don't know/remember that they've already paid. No idea tbh, the Google map location says “North Devon Valeting” I assume they have gone bust due to the covid scam and been taken over by a call centre/scammer. I have been getting calls four or more times a day from mobile and landlines for weeks, so I no longer pick up any calls that are not in my contacts. Guessing I’ve somehow made it onto a calling list. Shame, as I’ve had my number over 20 years without needing to change it. I’ve marked this as a scam as I don’t know any company or person from Bude.
