SCAM. Call received at around 21:30 hours. Caller asked to speak with me by first name. I did not confirm whether I was the person required, but asked who was calling. She did not answer but repeated her question. When I asked again who was calling, the young sounding woman said 'I'm from Virgin.' I then asked what she wanted with the person for whom she had called and she hung up. A bit later I called the number back and the same woman answered with 'hello!' Definitely not from Virgin. Scammer.
Called I missed call when I returned call foreign guy answered I asked who was. He didnt answer I said you called me earlier he said that's impossible. I said well you did but ok fine as clearly I don't know you. Number blocked so no more pest calls

It was a Whatsapp scam message pretending to be from my son and asking for monet to be transferred.

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. Telling me I have had two withdrawals from my bank - one being from Amazon for £300 and the other for a couple of thousand from abroad. I had a phone call from (supposedly local) yesterday also saying this! Ignored it.

I was called on my mobile by someone trying to tell me that my sister (I have power of attorney) owed 53.23 to BT but if I paid the full amount by card, then she would have her line restricted and avoid further charges of 18.00 for re-connection. They were really pushy that I make a payment but I thought something was off and wouldn t give any details at all!

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.
