Automated message in an American voice telling me to call back this number as it s the HMRC needing to speak with me about my accounts & if I don t I will need to speak to my solicitor as I m going to get a big fine if I don t. Do Not call back at any cost. It is a hoax.

I received an email from this same guy called Tony yesterday afternoon. I suspected the email straightaway. I called the number, went to a recorded advert, I quickly cut the call off after 1min 22secs. It is a scam!!!! Please beware of this guy and/or related tricks.

This number would appear to be à Plymouth number. However it is a recorded English voice about payments I have tried to make to Amazon and an International Money transfer.it is clearly a highly dangerous scam and similar to a call I had the other day from a different number with an American style voice. After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
