Received a call this morning from an Asian woman supposedly from BT telling me that someone was hacking into my system and they needed to stop it for me. The only problem is, I'm not with BT so knew it was fraud

This was an unsolicited call who asked for by name 3rd call today from local number I asked why he was calling a police mobile and asked the company name he said it was privileged information I said so is this number he said why should you be treated any different even if you are a police officer ? A very aggressive attitude

Silent call

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with PPI, unsolicited call for me.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Same scam as reported above - that my internet connection had been hacked by a site in California, Jenny, from BT, wanted me to go online and required details of all my devices. Gave this tel number as the genuine BT helpline number to contact even though

I checked my o2 account today and it said that i have 4.50 3 times this month of a company called ume ltd.i live text o2 they told me to text stop to them and to call them for a refund .i tried to call them but goes to answer phone and to leave name and number and will contact me in 2 working days. I live text o2 this evening and they have barred 3rd party on my account and given me their email to complain i think this is a scam and a goverment one ps authority.org .uk .hopefully i can get my money back
