I also have been getting these calls daily . A recurring theme of heavy Asian/Indian accents. THey have been asking me to complete a survey . My husband is ill and currently in hospital so the last thing I need to is to have both silent and abusive calls from these people. Brighter Homes called me today on this number offering vouchers for double glazing etc. I told them I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and not to call again. This company uses pressure selling techniques to sell double glazing. The company was featured on the Watchdog rogue traders program. This was a call from a company asking me about my 'accident on the road'. I have not had an accident, so definitely a spam number. Avoid.

I have been receiving late morning calls from this number on my landline for the last few days. I am ex-directory and do not know anyone in Preston. I suspect that it is probably a robotic marketing call because today I answered but nobody spoke and there was no message.

I confirm that it s illegal. I believe they call from Asia because it is a financial call centre but they call when here is night! I don t use bad words because I don t want a ban, but they are criminal!
