The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. Phishing scam pretending to be HSBC and asking you to cancel a fake transaction using their phishing site at hspayments.co.uk.
Said they were from BT Open Reach, and that I needed to upgrade my service because they were discontinuing my package.
I am sure this is a scam, its a Virgin mobile number advising it was from Fedex, "sorry we missed you" and leaving a link for me to re arrange delivery. I think not ...........

The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.
Had a call from this number earlier today claiming to be Amazon security. Said that I had an order for over £300 on hold and did I want to cancel this, if so give them my mobile number so that they could reimburse my account. Told them that there was no such order and that I would check with Amazon myself and that I believed that they were scammers at which point they terminated the call. Did the check, nothing untoward on my account. Will report this to Amazon.
