Fraud Received a call allegedly from Barclaycard and they knew my full name. I denied that I was that person, said they've got the wrong person and hung up. I proceeded to call Barclaycard and they confirmed that they didn't call me, said that this is not one of their number and confirmed it was a fraudster that was trying to get me. Barclaycard advised that they will usually send a message or e-mail and very rarely call unless you have not made a payment. Blocked and will be reporting it.

Called the number back, it is not recognised. Most likely some sort of scam
Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. After asking politely around 5 times for them to remove me from there database I finally blocked the call from my mobile but now my phone still keeps beeping telling me that its just blocked the call so they will not stop, sometimes over 10 times per day, trading standards have been informed and if I am able to find out the companies details I will take them to court as I can prove via my call record harassment! Search against this number after someone called asking to speak to two directors saying it was "an urgent financial matter". Someone else from their office - company name Greenfields - earlier and spoke to our accounts manager and was told they could assist in financial matters. Basically, they prey on companies who are having financial issues promising to help. This is the third call from this company today. Perhaps the right hand should know what the left hand is doing!

Called a couple of times. Said he was calling from the technical depth at TalkTalk about my internet connection. Didn't believe him and put the phone down.
Caller said that my Sky maintenance was due for renewal. I was suspicious straight away but weirdly I had just had Sky installed that day. I asked who had given my number and caller then terminated the call.
