Asian male ... from Virgin Media ...said my broaband was not working properly. I hung up. Worryingly this scammer is purporting to be phoning from close to my own area so the number looks genuine.
SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Purporting to be from “Bank Security”, regarding unauthorised transactions. Select option 1 if I authorised 2 high cost transactions, press 2 to speak to customer support, who spoke with a strong accent, asking me for personal details. I hung up.
This number called and then hug up on me when I answered. I called back and they didn't answer so called off a different number and a fella answered. Scammers?

This number called saying, in a computerised American voiced message, that it claimed to be from HMRC, that I was under investigation and that I had to call another number to pay. Definitely a scam.
SCAM Recorded message supposed to be from the National insurance department stating that they had seen fraudulent activity on my NI account in South Wales. Wanted me to press 1 for further information !! Now blocked.
