Just had a call from this number, saying they were from the Debt Support Group and that I was due to reduce my outstanding payments on my debt!! When I told them that they were incorrect as I had no debt and I asked where they got my details from, they put the phone down. It really annoys me that these people have not got the decency to tell you where they received the information and give you the chance to ask them to remove your details from their database. Grrrrr!!!!
Called and hung up when answered. Phone showed number as "potential fraud".

When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.

Call Centre noise but no one spoke
Fraud - male caller claimed to be from credit card company MBNA. He claimed that there were unsual transaction on my credit card this morning. He hung up immediately when I said that I had cancelled the card.

This number range is allocated to Core Telecom we allocate numbers responsibly within the ofcom regulations. The call to cost this number is 30p per call. Mobile networks may charge higher but that is not within our control. The number is not text enabled so therefore there should be no charge for texting. Debit card scammer "£600 transaction. Press 1 now. Card will be declined until contact.. Blah blah blah" No number showing in Google search. Advice to anyone receiving sh*t like this: If you're really concerned it might be genuine, just phone your bank using the number on the back of your debit card. Then! Google Kitboga, ScammerRevolts, Jim Browning, etc. They'll tell you everything you need to know and more! Jeez, I really hate these scammers. Utter parasites. Lower than a snakes belly.
Automated call, allegedly from HMRC telling me to press 1 to talk to an inspector. Failure to do so will result in my arrest.
Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

These people handle "deceased accounts" on behalf of Eon in UK. (I suspect they buy the debt). They also seem very interested in probate matters - perhaps they gain extra business this way. However - was pleasant call (got my number from Eon - I am Mum s executor), and they were not chasing payment just establishing status.
