Another National Insurance Number Fraud Scam
1st had a text sent to my land-line late last night, saying thank-you for going with Action direct PPI, I ignored it thinking it was a wrong number & I d not had any contact with this company. Now - - it s only 12:05hrs & I ve had 3 calls with no one @ the other end,damned if I m wasting my time waiting for an operator.

Some Indian bloke called saying i was owed 4 thousand pounds in PPI, then a minute later he said it was 2 thousand pounds. I asked why had the amount had dropped down, to which he claimed he never said 4 thousand. The clearly tell so many lies and talk so much rubbish, they can never remember what they do say. He wanted details and when I didn t comply, he got verbally abusive. It all adds up to a complete and total farce.

Crank calls using IVR technology telling me my internet connection is compromised and asking me to pres an option to speak to someone. This shows as owned by a Gernal marketing company but this may be spoofed.
This was not a spam call, it was someone wishing me a happy birthday.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. This number called me today and asked for me by name. Line was quiet for 3 seconds after I said hello and the person spoke sounded like a male with a funny voice so probably used some equipment to diguise their real voice to sound posh. After they said my name I replied "Cor you sound really posh how you doing?" Then they hung up. Would have kept call going longer but I had things to do so couldn t continue.
