Fake caller pretending to be a hmrc and claiming there was tax fraud investigation and if I didn't answer I would arrested promptly, I pressed 1 and a person answered saying how can I help you today, this therefore told me straight away it was a scam as why does a hmrc officer need to ask me how they can help me if they called me. Don't continue with the unless you want to mess them around.
Called me today. They knew my full name and postcode (very old one as I don't live there for 4 years now). She said they were calling about bank charges refund. I said I have no PPI but she said is bank charges that I pay on my bank account. She wanted to know what bank I have, type of account and year I was born.
