Don’t waste your time registering and installing Apps to stop calls. Most of them don’t work and are just another way for the scammers to get your details.
Said I was entitled to injury claim but I'm already covered through the NHS. I believe these cold calls are dangerous and unsafe.

Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).

This number called 3 times today someone claiming to be Dave from Windows Technical. We hung up first time then my wife answered and said thank you for your concern and how kind he was for notifying her there was a problem she would take the computer into the shop. (Addition to previous) From other comments on here, I can see this is in fact a sales company that provides services to a number of other companies to cold call on their behalf for commission. The data warehouse/broker thing was kindly explained by one of these callers a couple of weeks back. It's a never-ending cycle - in order to pay the phone bills of an initial cold call, data is sold on to the next cold-calling company. Who knows what other information we might have given over the phone gets sold on? O
