Also received call from this number claiming to be HMRC re alleged tax avoidance tell me to call 0203 290 7104. Have called official HMRC office who do not recognize this number and have reported it. SCAM beware. Block it.
Hits a scam
Sent a text stating my PPI claim was ready and to text POST to receive it or STOP to cancel. Unsolicited text and I will not be replying to it at all.
Liverpool accent. Said "hello Joyce, how are you today? I'm calling about a minor accident you had recently" I didn't answer, just held the phone. He kept saying "are you there Joyce? 4/5 times. I don't know who Joyce is...... eventually he hung up. Must have got fed up with the silence.....

Rang 5 times through the night and left 2 voicemails, the 1st voicemail was a women using a distressed voice claiming to be my mam and saying I needed to ring her urgently, the 2nd was the same women again using a distressed voice asking where I was and begging me to ring her. I think after 40 years I know my mams voice.

Just received automated call,advising 'Bank Services' purporting to be contacting me for possible fraudulent transactions.I x £300 and 1 x £1000 international. Knew was a scam.Decided to press 2 to speak to agent.Agent responded as if I had called in,I explained I had been called & he could tell me why.He confirmed the transactions on the automated message.I asked which bank, asian male advised Barclays, & that he needed me to confirm my full name. I advised he already had that information,
