Sounded like a scam call pretending to be BT
SCAM called me, I called back (in error was expecting a call), they denied they had rang me, was clearly there on my phone as a missed number. Wouldn't tell me who they were, suspect scam

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

Unsurprisingly they immediately put the phone down when I informed them I work with RTA claims in a legitimate law firm. Called herself Amanda Smith. This is another fake number being used by the criminals to say they are Talk Talk and whose purpose is to infect computers. It was a silent call - not a sound when I answered - but that is not unusual. I get such calls daily.
