Said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, they've now rung a further 4 times at 13.17, 14.07,14.43 and 16.53. I haven't answered these later calls and consider them to be bordering on harassment.

So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. I believe this is a cold caller who has somehow, along with two others since blocked, has my mobile number - guessing via software as only family have the number they are ringing. Rings a few times then goes off - ringing the number back produce a constant engaged tone. Another number that'll be getting blocked. This is the third 'cold call' to my mobile in a week that has gone unanswered!

They called me on my mobile phone today. How the hell they got my number is a complete mystery as I have only given out my number to family, friends and hospitals.. I answered but there was no reply. I dont drive, have no car so haven't had any accidents, so why the bloody hell are they ringing me? I am 86.

Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with something new, new scope?
