Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. Cold call from telemarketing company based in Manchester claiming to be 02 Partner. Told to fxxk xff and not call me again. Also blocked number on phone but my call logs showed they continued to ring me. Pig stupid or what.

Contacted twice by text message first saying regarding BT and contact on above no quoting a ref no they had given or text BPO to 60006. Second call a week later saying BPO can offer you a saving on your BT account again contact on above no, etc, etc.

rang today at 6 oclock i said hello he said hello (ASIAN MALE)..i said hello he said hello ..i said who is this and what do you want and he said i want you. i said scuse me? he said i want you. i said dont ring this number again you freak! and hung up. absolutely unbelievable!

Missed call, no voicemail. Tried calling back and it just went to Tesco Voicemail.

What can I say? It was a silent call.

This is one of several numbers that began making repeated calls to my mobile after I had used RAC recovery to move my car following a skid into a kerb in the snow. The RAC denied passing on my details but did so to its recovery subcontractor and to a third party company it employs called Sigma. The caller refused to identify themselves and rang off when I asked for them. They used some generic name like National Accident Database.
