This appears to be a scam to obtain credit card details for illegal purposes. We called the number and was immediately asked for our credit card number, but NOT WHICH CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which raises concern over legitimacy, as we have several cards, so which one would we use?

Same as 01367114033. Lady calling herself Paige Peters called me from Crawley, England out of the blue at around 5.30pm. Said she was with the Road Traffic Accidents Department and had information that I had been in an accident. When Iasked who she was and which organisation she called from she just repeated the above line. Kept asking for information about the accident until I hung up on her after a few seconds.
I don t answer calls from unknown numbers, but look them up on the Internet. Having read other people s comments I m pleased I didn t answer. Thank you all for your comments. They really helped.

I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

I said I would not continue if they would not identify themselves @nd they terminated call. Asian man was calling. Don?t think they targeted her because of her age. SCAM - apparently "David" wanted to help me fix my "broken" internet router. I told "David" that it was handy he'd called as my Husband was a Sky engineer and if he held the line a moment I'd put him on to discuss. "David put the phone down on me..... how rude !!! Clearly a total scam call which apparently originated from Basildon but more like Bombay based on the accent. Be aware.
