very dodgy! I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!
Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. SCAM 01417298573 After initial silence, caller said his name was John and he was my local energy adviser in my area. I asked where he had got my number from as mine was X-Directory and he shouldn’t have it. As I was asking him to delete it he kept forcibly talking over me. I hung him. Blocked his number with BT. Do not give anyone on this number any information.
Asked if I wanted to claim PPI. Told them I was on TPS, asked for their address to complain, and he slammed the phone down on me. - Nice !

SCAM Apparently calling from Sky technical team, said there had been Internet errors in the last 2 days and for them to rectify it I need to open my laptop and follow their instructions.... I asked the caller to verify they were from Sky and the caller went silent then hung up. Be careful people.
