This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.
SPAM The caller - who had an Indian accent - claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse. When I said I had no connection to Carphone Warehouse, she said this was a promotion call about some Samsung mobile. I doubted whether it was from Carphone Warehouse. Anyway, I said I was perfectly happy with my Nokia phone and hung up.

Called yesterday (12 Nov) at 18:46 and drivelled on about the PPI you were sold. Obviously a bunch of spivs as I don t do PPI as I don t take out loans or use credit cards. Attempted to make a complaint to the TPS and their website says "noting to do with us try the information commissioner". Who is paying for the TPS and why? They seem to be a waste of space.

Claimed to be from Amazon, saying that someone had placed a £~2K order on my account and I had to push 1 or 2 to resolve the issue. Checked my account, no such order. Phoned back, got some poor woman who was at a beauty appointment. Someone is managing to get around fraud prevention by spoofing the number sources.
I'm usually skeptical regarding my business as I get a lot of phone calls off people trying to switch my supplier but my mind was put at ease that all he wanted to do was to keep me with EON and make sure I was happy with everything
