just received a letter from the DWP requesting bank details so they can pay my pension into it instead of the post office.if this is a scam, it's a b****y clever, very convincing one. it was accompanied by a letter in the same post from the post office telling me I could close my card account with them free of penalty, though it's not the type of a/c that incurs penalties. the letter even quotes my national insurance number at the top. very clever of two big organisations to hit the same postal delivery tog

Had a call from this number. I wasn't sure if I was talking to a human being or not. It kept changing from confirming that I had an accident that wasn't my fault to PPI to Absestos etc................. Needless to say I had to hang up.

Fraud I was given this number to contact the Insolvency Service. When I got through I was convinced I was speaking to the same people who had given me the number, a cloned firm of Stoneford Holdings

I received a call today from this number. They knew my name and told me they were ringing about my computer and that someone had tried to hack into it twice. I responded by saying no one tried to hack into my computer and how did you get this number and they hung up. This was clearly a scam but the scary part about it was that I could hear he was in a call centre.

SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

Ask for account details

Guy tried to put on a fake accent to speak to the office manager who is actually British but has a Italian name once I declined the accent got dropped!! The things these people try is disgusting.

Scam informing of refund from Sky Telephone. Wanted my debit card details. I kept giving them wrong information eventually they gave up.

Called 18:26 Sunday evening, no answer.
