Caller claimed to be wanting to complete a survey on behalf of Devon and Cornwall fire and rescue in relation to pole tax expenditure. Could not give me details of how he got my mobile number that the council do not have! Therefore this appears to be a scam!

Rings for about 10 secs several times per day. Stops before you have chance to pick up your handset. Thought this type of call was one illegal. When are the Watchdogs going to fine these F. My callblocker app said it was to do with pensions so obviously cold calling.

Julie Smith from some company asking me to confirm the accident I was involved in that wasn t my fault. I hung up!

These people phone me and told me they were ringing on behalf of the government - they wanted to know personal health details. Told them to write to me but they just carried on reading from a script and I had to put the phone down
