a bloody moron called and left a message on my ansaphone - my number is new, so not many know it. He ranted about being from Afganistan, and that he was in the Taliban, and had an effing rifle you get the message! went on for 5 mins... Could here callcentre noise in background. I called the 0800 orange no. and was told it wasnt them, but called the number and it said it WAS orange and the office was called. Dialed 101 and reported the number and moron to the police.. let them find him.

Called my mobile and asked for me by name. Claimed to be from Nationwide Building Society and started trying to confirm my postcode. When I asked to be told why they were calling first they hung up. I suspect this to be a scam.

Scammer called at 01:23 and woke me up. Told them where to go.

Caller had my name, postcode, an email address. Claimed a competition win and 10 free euro millions tickets. Wanted bank info and £39 monthly. Guaranteed to win! Confused about who they represented. Online search has no winners only reports of a scam.

This is one of the most persistent callers I have come across. Eventually, I found the contact number to remove yourself from their list. (http://www.tnsglobal.com/uk/have-you-been-contacted-for-research/telephone) They claim not to sell on your details from calling numbers on this page.

Got a call from a guy asking me if i had problems with my ears of if i had worked in a noisy environment. Hung up when i said no. Called the number to see who they were and where they were from but the number is not recognised.

Asked if anyone in household are in receipt of any benefits. Offering free heating.

Rings me twice a day for several days running. Hangs up when I answer.

Automated phone call telling me that there was unusual internet activity on my internet connection and I was about to be disconnected. To Press 1 to speak to an advisor, This comes on a day when my internet provider had informed me that they would be doing service upgrades in the area.

Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.
