This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
Phones claiming to be "on behalf of Eon" and starts offering new contracts. Got suspicious when they couldn t get to my details given we already had a contract with EON so challenged him. Eventually he claimed to be calling from another company called Contactpoint. Wouldn t trust them.

Rang four times a day for the last few days. Rang the number back after coming up clear on google. Got automated message saying I was rang by 1st Call Group. The number is a Manchester number but based in South Africa, which is suspicious to start with. A woman claimed to be calling from a company called MCA. She wished to talk to me about damage which occured to my car back in 2013, and the phone calls that I had subsequently been receiving. I advised her that a) my car wasn t damaged in 2013, and b) I hadn t had phone calls about the damage to my car - which hadn t occured! Somewhat worryingly she knew the make, model and registration number of my car. She was unable to recognise sarcasm when I suggested that I was obviously older and more senile tha
