In this type of scam, the sender, generally through an email, requests help in facilitating the transfer of a substantial sum of money. In return, the sender offers a commission, usually in the range of several million dollars. The scammers then request that money be sent to pay for some of the costs associated with the transfer. Once money is sent to the scammers, they will either disappear immediately or try to get more money with claims of continued problems with the transfer.

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. Downright nuisance and abusive. I just put phone down now as does my wife. No doubt the number will change but the response will still be the same Not interested for the 1st couple of calls, then just putting phone down
