I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. If this company calls, it is an unsolicited sales call, tell them you will raise an invoice for wasting your time and if they don t pay will see them in small claim court.
