SPAM - Indian sounding man says he’s from internet security. Wanted me to download an App on my phone or laptop called Team Viewer QuickSupport - quickly realised it was a screen sharing app. Decided to hang up the phone and unplug my landline. Reported to BT and Fraud ActionLine.

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. Do not answer from this number, potentially dangerous. Lady claiming she was from Virgin media. I explained that I'm not with them (she tried to argue I was) and eventually asked me if I was 'stupid or something' and then hung up. Probably will want to take personal details.

No idea tbh, the Google map location says “North Devon Valeting” I assume they have gone bust due to the covid scam and been taken over by a call centre/scammer. I have been getting calls four or more times a day from mobile and landlines for weeks, so I no longer pick up any calls that are not in my contacts. Guessing I’ve somehow made it onto a calling list. Shame, as I’ve had my number over 20 years without needing to change it. I’ve marked this as a scam as I don’t know any company or person from Bude.

Been called by 0113 419 9990 numerous times over the past 3 days. I answered the call today to be told it s about my pension - and they could see its frozen. The lady was called Becky (thats if they use their real names) who wanted details of my pension, which I wouldnt give, she tried to convince me there was nothing wrong but I said how did know who she was, I said I would leave it and deal with it myself - she hung up!! So much for trying to convince me she was genuine. These scams are really getting out

The same company has been call blocked on at least 20 different numbers, they keep changing numbers every few days, when i get through to one of them and tell them to take me off their calling list they are rude and hang up, scum of the earth! Company needs heavily fining!
