Over the past few days, I have had relentless calls from this number and also 01509 610888. They always call during the day when my phone is on silent, so I never, ever pick up. I can t seem to find out who it is via Google and I don t want to ring them in case it s a scam.

Fraud: claims to be Paypal. "PayPal: We have limited your account due to safety concerns. Please visit https://paypal-login981.com before we are forced to close your account." Paypal have confirmed to me that this is not them. Please report this to them and to the ICO.
Call my mobile 2 to 3 times a day .When I did answer it went dead .now I see the number and don't pick up.

I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.

Caller says he / she is from Amazon and would like to auto renew prime subscription. Then asks you to turn on your computer and to allow them to connect. I kept them going for a while, then asked their name and a contact number - they hung up. It was an indian accent.

3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.
