Scam! Automated call saying my annual subscription for Amazon Prime is up for renewal and £79.99 will be taken from my account in 7 days unless I cancel my subscription, it then asked me to confirm my bank account details to allow the subscription to go through. At this point I hung up. 1,The call was very crackly and jumpy and 2, I don't pay annually! Be aware and make sure your relatives are aware of the scam so they don't fall victim.

Woman called to say "We have been informed you were in a road traffic accident which wasn t your fault, can you tell me when this happened?". I said "Who told you this?" She repeated the above? I repeated my question. She said "The RPA" or "The RTA". I asked if this was an official government agency and she said "Yes". I asked which part of government and she said "Yes". An Indian sounding woman called Lisa. They called about an accident, they couldn't name the person that had the accident, what kind of accident or when. I asked where they got my number from and that was against data protection also. I asked them to remove my number from their list. I have now blocked them with my call blocker pro.
