Unsolicited call to my mobile using my first name which I don t use! (which is only shown on electoral roll)The caller (male) was unprofessional telling me I have had a loan refused and am struggling with debt- UNTRUE on both accounts, he was bordering on being very rude so I cut short the call. I would like to know how he got my first name & my mobile number???

Keep getting pestered by these people even though I m in the TPS. Asking them to "delete me from their database makes no difference whatsoever, ....... avoid!!!!

I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. I got a call from an indian/Pakistan accent about a loan said he was Darren thought it was to do with family as the area code is the same.

I have had the same calls from this guy,. I did make the mistake of paying first time, but since I know of this scam im not no more, but he still keeps ringing me.

recieved a call from HSBC today. somethin about upgrading the "ordinary" account to "premium". well, I don t like being cold called so I hang up. a day later I phoned HSBC. they told I hadn t been called. so..... question... are the guys at HSBC liars or, and more likely, this call had the sole purpose of aquiring account details and so on, aka phishing.

Accepted the call but didn t say anything, the automated system waits for the word "Hello" before reeling off their rubbish to you. The call stayed silent before cutting itself off. Added this number, along with a few others, to my SPAM entry in my address book.
