This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam

The department had been investigating claims which were turned down by the banks, but this dept, had found there was money owing to customers.
