Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. Yet another boiler replacement automated message. The law states that they should have permission to make the call and also that they should identify themselves. They did neither of these things so I am going to report them to the ICO. I don t even have a boiler!

Scam Automated message asking me to verify HSBC payment made abroad

It s Origin Publishing trying to sell you magazine subscriptions. When they ring you they only let the ringer go a couple of times before hanging up, they do it on purpose because they want you to call them back on their premium rate number.
