Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. SCAM Threatens you that you are gonna be prosecuted for tax fraud. Obviously untrue considering the fact that it is almost impossible to talk to someone at HM Revenues &Customs who has some responsability and knows about taxes and rules, so why should they send you someone to prosecute you for sonething they don't even understand themselves.

Do not give them your DOB or any other details, apparently it may be a scammer watch out. This number called - I picked up the phone but did not speak. After 5 seconds the call was ended. I searched for the number and found reference to it on funnumber.in which has been mentioned against other numbers on this site. I suspect the call was spoofing the number and would have been one of the standard microsoft/openreach scams if I had spoken to one of their operators.
I suggest that such numbers are blocked on your phone. Go to i [information] on your mobile and block caller.
