This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Call began with I want to discuss the recent Motor accident you were involved in.. I asked which accident (as I have not had one) they then said Oh, have you not? and rang off. Obviously a fishing call...someone they call will have had an accident so will give there details. Very suspicious !!

Spoke to an Indian man, who was concerned I'd downloaded many viruses over the last 3 months. I knew immediately that it was a scam, so wasted his time by "turning my computer on" very slowly and (very pleasantly) asking him plenty of questions about where he was calling from, why he was phoning on a bank holiday (to which he replied "I'm not calling from a bank) etc. He clamed he was based in Westminster and said his phone number was 0203 ........
