SCAM Recorded voice saying you're about to be arrested and your NI number cancelled unless you press 1 to speak to an officer.
have jut read the comments on this and am uncertain whether it is genuine as there is conflicting opinions expressed.

Called about my last accident. Put the phone down. Called me a further 2 times and used terms like darling, and love!
First Assist from York called today, Asked to speak to me (using my FULL NAME), asked who was calling! He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why. Told him so I could get my son to ring her up and tell her what a con merchant her son is. TOTAL SILENCE . . when to tried to speak again cut him off. Now blocked.

Told them it was an unsolicited call, the female has quoted the wrong law, she said good bye then waited for a response! aggressive mannerisms from the off and seemed to call for an argument!! Also didn t confirm the name of who the poor victim was she was calling for, just assumed I was it!!

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

This company have called me 6 times from 6 different numbers. I have not answered any of their calls and have blocked them all.

Telemarketing - Glow Green Ltd. They sell boilers at 0% finance. The catch? The prices they charge for the boilers are inflated so they don't need to apply any finance charges. I had a minor motor incident and claimed on the other driver s policy 2 years ago. These ****s call me EVERY day, sometimes twice a day, despite me telling them not tonand asking to have my no. removed from their database. They know Ive made some kind of claim. Her insurer MUST have sold my no. illegally (data protection). Sadly i didnt keep the insurer s details.
They leave a high premium number to contact them. I was charged ?1.79 just for 8 secs. Report this number to the authorities if possible.
