Just put a brand spanking new SIM in my phone and a few hours later I get a call from Bolton. I didn t answer but so far they ve called me almost every day, usually after 11am (I work nights so not happy).

Reject it or answer but dont say anything-the latter works best..:)

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

New years eve was sent a whatsapp message of a video but no reply when I asked who the person was

Having received several calls on my works phone no. I finally decided to answer one. Sarah from ??? Pension Helpline (didn t catch the actual name), wanting to tell me about the pension freedom changes that came into force from April 2015. She soon lost interest when I told her that I d been in my current employer s pension scheme for 36+ years & I didn t have any other pension funds I could access. I m guessing she was wanting to help free up any pension pots for an extortionate fee!!

Asked for me by name. Something about TV maintenance

Called 3 times in two days, 17 & 18 Aug 2015, about my computer. I said I was being harrassed and asked to speak to manager, and the speaker rang off.

Keep calling and texting asking for Ryan McKinley, I have no idea who that is and they re starting to really get on my nerves now!

Called me 6 times this afternoon. Once they asked for my wife and on the rest they hung up. Maybe they don t like my gruff voice.

Called yesterday at 12.10pm and again today at 09.40am. Both times silent calls.

Illiegal activities. Asking if you had any accidents and pass you over to their supervisor (call transfere) to National Accident Helpline. ILLEGAL CLAIMS SELLING. lots of fancy words, like Motor Insurance Bureau,Motor Insurance Database etc. FRAUD!!! Beware

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Very rude woman called. Initially all polite "I m calling from "Eco" - (something I could not hear) - "how are you today"? When I said suspicious of calls like this, she turned nasty - "you re not much of a man if you are scared of a cold call". Beware. Probably scammers.

This number is on a list of "available" SIM numbers on a Vietnamese web site. It would appear to be very suspicious and best avoided.

Received automated message. Claims to be an internet service provider. My IP address has been compromised and needs to be changed in next 24 - 48 hours or I will be cut off????...
