Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. My advice, which works a treat: tell all your real contacts to call you for the first 4 or 5 beeps, then to put the phone down. They just said they were something solutions (didnt catch the first bit) and money was ready to go into my account. After shouting verbal abuse at them i have not heard anymore from them.

This number has called my business number 3 times. Trying to find out who it is. Answerphone screening. I am TPS registered.

Automated phone call telling me that there was unusual internet activity on my internet connection and I was about to be disconnected. To Press 1 to speak to an advisor, This comes on a day when my internet provider had informed me that they would be doing service upgrades in the area.

Hassling texts and calls, claiming recovery of non existent debt . Told them to write, providing supporting evidence. They refused to do. SCAM!

This number called me claiming to be from BT, it seemed dubious .

Stated he was from a company called Caledonian. Wouldnt tell me anything about the company or why he was calling until I said I had time to spare to talk properly. I hung up. Obviously trying to either sell me something or claim back PPI or similar. Not very forthcoming. I would avoid this company.
