Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform. Or, a letter reccomending to call them to resolve an issue. DO NOT TRUST. They will try collecting personal information.

Just received a call from this number from an articulate young man who attempted to argue with me when I questioned who he was and shouted over me rather than listening to what I was saying. It was apparently something to do with green energy and saving me money. I said I did not deal with cold callers and asked him not to ring again as he could not save me money as my energy bills are fixed but he said I did deal with cold callers as I had answered the phone! It was altogether a very unpleasant call.

Indian female, claiming to be from O2. I hung up without saying anything. Been getting calls every day from this supposed Bournemouth number. These scammers have obviously obtained a batch of similar numbers, as yesterday it was from 01202080470. These calls have been coming in coincidental to me using for the first time, a free photo printing service called 'FreePrints' where you pay just for the postage. I could be wrong, but it is highly suspicious, as I never usually get spam calls.

This is a renewal scam phone number. Do not call them. You haven't been billed for renewing Norton (even if you are using it, this number is not Norton). They even claim the number is "toll free" - which it isn't. Also, this is not a term we use in the UK anyway, we would say it was a freephone number. The scam usually involves you logging in to your on-line bank, then them showing you that they have overrfunded you (by blanking your screen then manipulating the contents of the page).
