Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

Left a voicemail couldn't tell you what they said as they spoke Chinese or something and played weird music in the background very strange indeed.

I phoned this number back and it said THIS NUMBER IS UNRECOGNIZED so now I know. When I answered this number previously it was an Asian man with bad English from a lifestyle company doing surveys. I ve been a victim of fraud in the past so never do over the phone surveys especially from an Asian man with bad English. Also be careful when you phone someone afterwards as they are always still on the phone line.

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. They called me saying they could handle my ppi claim (I don t have one). They spoke in an Indian accent and when I questioned who exactly they were and who I was speaking to they hung up. Some sort if blatant scam.

had a call from this company claiming my creditors have filled charges against me and requested them to recover the money owed. When requested for the names of the companies the caller became abusive and hung up.

A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.
