This looks 100% like a local number - but beware - it is NOT. It is a computer voice purporting to be from Amazon to say that I have been charged £399 for a phone, and to press 3 to confirm my details. When will this type of call be stopped??
It's a recruitment agency asking if you are still looking for work saying they've found your CV on reed sites, it is a Scottish number also

SPAM Claiming to be from "Advice plus" - typical call centre, Indian sounding guy with lots of background noise. Caller offered free insulation and claimed to be a Govenment Advisor she was very coy when I asked if they were a Government Agency though truthfully answered no. This was the second time they have called and I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take me off their marketing list the first time.

Indian voice said from Microsoft. Told him to get lost. He said that because I was uncooperative he was going to block my computer, he was full of threats. That got me really going and I told him to get on and block it (there is NO way he could). After me making more comments to him he rang off. I think this is probably a Nigerian scammer who has been able to tack himself onto an English telephone number.
