Which I did (as I cancelled it 4 years ago already). Got what sounded like Asian children talking at high speed, very broken up. I traced the mobile phone to a field in Manchester. Robotic message saying that tax fraud has been filed against you and that you have an arrest warrant in your name. “For more information press 1”. So, definitely a fraud/spam in the making. I wonder if they take any information from the cell phone if you press 1 ?

SCAM Said they were from talk talk, illegal activity and IP addresses coming from my router. Tried to get me to download an app. Refused and said I would call talk talk to discuss this and put the phone down. Contacted talk talk and they confirmed it was a scam.

this number called claiming to be government official that had details that bank interest had not been applied accurately so they wanted to pay this back via cheque the female knew my name date of birth and full address asked if i was able towalk to the bank i responded that i would call the bank myself she hung up. another scam against people of a certain age trying to get bank details BEWARE!!!
