SCAM. Automated message claiming to be HMRC. Saying they had detected tax fraud in my name, but not mentioning my name, and that I had to press 1 or... at which point I hung up. I would expect if the HMRC were to call me they would ask for me by name.

Scam National Insurance Scam saying NI number has been compromised. Automated message, no doubt wanting the victim of the call to press one to be connected to scammers. I put the phone down when I heard the message and cut off the call. Having seen resent warnings about this scam, I was already aware of it. Don't act on the call and hang up. Government bodies don't call people in this way. BEWARE. DANGEROUS.

I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. This number has called me on a number of occasions the last few days. The number is unknown to me so I let it go to answering machine, they do not leave a message, therefore in my opinion it s a junk call!! This number is now in my call barred numbers!!

SCAM 01614303899 called me at 08:45 left it ringing until the call screening kicked in and they hung up straight away - probably someone else answered the mass calling device that was probably doing the dialling and the called tried to engage that poor unsuspecting victim. Typical nuisance call.
