Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam

Appears to be some kind of call centre. I could hear lots of calls in the background, not sure of the purpose of the call as no one spoke to me when I picked up.
Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!

He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.
